Business Cards
On the recommendation of my mentor, I decided to create my personal brand/identity. Condensing my life's experiences down to a logo, color palette and typeface proved quite the task. Right in the middle of this undertaking, life happened. My Macbook took a spill and would need to spend three weeks being repaired. With a conference coming up, I needed business cards that were quick to create, memorable and easy on the pockets. They say "Necessity is the mother of invention". I decided to take a trip to the craft store and see what I could find. To save time, I decided to try to use tactile elements (colors, texture, dimension) to take the place of design (creating patterns, shapes, symbols).
I found thick cut cardboard paper and Krylon copper spray paint, and decided to experiment. I hand cut rectangles and spray painted them rose gold.
